Ticket #24463 - Premium Google Tag Manager module issue

After upgrading the theme the module is not tracking any more. The tag is missing from the code!

The developer after our request of support wrote:

“I only can give you some advices.
1 - Clean your site cache, ussually caches can be very static and is requried to flush all caches.
2 - Reinstall the module, as depending the theme can make changes on hooks.
3 - Check your theme structure and be sure that “head” and “beforebodyclosingtag” tag hook are present
4 - If this theme introduces and overlay module, you must register my module in this overlay module, check theme documentation or ask theme developer.”

We have done 1,2,3 without success.

Can you help with point 4?
