Ticket #24474 - Problems with theme installation
Good morning,
we are having problems with the installation of the theme on prestashop version 1.7.8.
We have tried both via browser and ftp.
We have uploaded alysum-v.8.1.4.
Via browser it tells us that the file size is too large.
This is strange because we have increased the upload_max_filesize value on the server to 50mb.
We then tried uploading via ftp, uploading the zip file alysum-v.8.1.4 to the /themes folder, when we then import it it returns the attached error.
All the links in the documentation give a Not Found error.
Please give us urgent assistance otherwise we have to request a refund for the theme.
Thank you

Hi, Cesare Cinelli.
Strange, you are first who report this problem
Please fill out all necessary fields in your profile https://support.promokit.eu/myprofile to access to your Back-office and FTP Server I’ll try to install it for you
As I can see your server has limited by 30 seconds of execution time. I believe if you increase it, according to the prestashop requirements that will allow you to install the theme
OK, by increasing the max_execution_time value I was able to install the theme.
I have activated all the theme plugins but the frontend returns a blank page.
Can you help me?
I have already filled out my account page with BO and FTP login credentials.
Thanks
I cannot even edit the home from the backend. See attachment

That’s because of failed first attempt. I just reset a couple of modules and now everything works fine. Please check
OK, thank you. Everything seems to be working now.
A couple more questions:
1) can you send me the link to the documentation?
The links that were in the zip do not work
2) see the attached image.
Which files do I have to import to upload these slides?
Thank you

Hi, I managed to import the slides.
However, it seems that the changes I make (both to the text and by replacing the default images) do not show up on the frontend.
I also tried clearing the cache.
Can you tell me how to solve this?
1. When you create a ticket you can see documentation links https://take.ms/heldEm you need this one http://alysum.promokit.eu/promokit/documentation/
2. What changes did you make and where?
I have modified the images of the first two slides that appear on the home page.
From the backend the changes can be seen but not from the frontend.
You need to select your new slider in the widget settings → https://take.ms/WlhaU
