Ticket #24664 - The customized category description does not display correctly on the page


I encounter a problem with the Promokit widget : Category description

As you can see on the IMAGE 1, I put my category description at the end of my category page.

I edited the description of one of my pages with Elementor to check if it displays correctly on the category page.

The IMAGE 2 shows what’s inside the description.

However, the custom description appears like this (IMAGE 3) on the category page.

Can’t I use the Creative Elements widgets for the description of my category pages? Should I only put text in it?

Yes, now it works.
I need access via FTP to check out theme files. Or you can try to update the theme to 8.1.5

We updated the theme to 8.1.5 but still no changes.
We created an access via FTP for you, I should point out that this is directly a production environment.

Can you please check FTP credentials? Because I can’t connect

Status:      	Connecting to
Error:         	Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error:         	Could not connect to server

I have tried FTP/SFTP, secure/insecure

Hi, Quentin.
Looks like it’s the problem of one Elementor instance is loaded inside another one.
I have tried to switch to native category page layout and everything works fine.
We will continue investigating that, but for now the only solution is to switch to native layout
