Ticket #24966 - Website very slow due to creative elements

We are having a lot of performance problems with the Creative elements, if we use the native Alysum elements it doesn’t take so long to load, as you can see in the attached screenshot.

Hi, Pedro Vives Aguilar.
Do you have enabled cache? We don’t have such problem with enabled cache

Pedro Vives Aguilar 06 Oct 2023, 16:51

If we activate the cache, the first visit of each user is very slow and then it goes better, but I don’t think it should take so long

Fred 06 Oct 2023, 17:17

Do you have enabled Opcache in your server as recommended in prestashop documentation?

Pedro Vives Aguilar 06 Oct 2023, 20:40

Yes, everything exceeds the prestashop recommendations

for me the first visit was pretty fast https://take.ms/87xRm of course if you clear prestashop cache it will take some time to load everything and cache

Pedro Vives Aguilar 06 Oct 2023, 21:58

Yes, everything exceeds the prestashop recommendations

Yes, the first load in only the redirect info, and it loads me fast too, but for example on homepage or category page is +10sec

Here is home page - https://take.ms/hNCMi - very fast as for me

Pedro Vives Aguilar 06 Oct 2023, 22:33

Thats the redirection, to check the actual homepage speed you have to click on the link

Fred 07 Oct 2023, 11:33

Ok, but as I can see the cache is still disabled https://take.ms/m3YCj

Pedro Vives Aguilar 07 Oct 2023, 13:48

Okay, the problem with the cahé, is that the first visit of each user will always be slow, but apart from that, when we activate it, the thumbnails of creative elements stop working properly

No, prestashop cache doesn’t work in this way. Yes, the first request may be slow, but not for everyone, only for whom who open uncached page. In most cases that’s developer or shop administrator, because if you clearing the cache you are doing that for some reason, and after that you want to check the result by opening your front page. You can use cache warmer modules if that’s a big problem for you.
As for the second question, please give me direct link where I could check that

Pedro Vives Aguilar 07 Oct 2023, 14:25

Okay, perfect! You can check that error on the home page or category page, if you reload the page. It seems that the first time it loads after clearing the cache it works fine, but if I reload the same page, either clearing the cache or not, it appears as in the image above

Fred 08 Oct 2023, 23:15

There is no image attached.
And the page is not available for me to check

Pedro Vives Aguilar 08 Oct 2023, 23:22

The image was on the last coment (07 Oct 2023, 11:48) and the page is working right now

Fred 10 Oct 2023, 12:37

Your website suddenly stopped working, could you please check that?

Fred 10 Oct 2023, 12:38

I have enabled Debug Mode to read error messages

Pedro Vives Aguilar 16 Oct 2023, 14:35

The shop is already working :)

Fred 18 Oct 2023, 12:35
