Ticket #25096 - MENU URL PROBLEMS

Hello,

I am trying to create a mega-menu with dropdown subcategories, following the instructions in the documentation. However, I’m facing an issue. Regardless of whether I select a category or different types of pages in the menu options and choose the PrestaShop link, the URL does not direct correctly. It consistently ends up as ‘mydomain.pl/#’ instead of the expected ‘mydomain.pl/140-somecategory’ or similar. I’ve spent many hours trying to figure this out without any success.

Could you please help me resolve this issue?

Okay, when I use a custom URL, it works in the sense that the menu button redirects to the page with the URL, but it does not display the subcategories. However, when I try to use ‘PrestaShop Link’, nothing happens at all. My goal is to select a few categories for my menu to create a mega-menu with subcategories. I would like to see a dropdown menu appear after selecting a category in the menu.

Additionally, I attempted to create a dropdown section in Creative Elements and selected a link in the menu settings, then saved it. However, the dropdown section is also not working.

Please try now. I have tested "Menu5" item and it works

Yes, now after selecting a category in the PrestaShop link, the dropdown menu becomes visible upon hovering. However, something is not right. When I hover over 'Features', the menu spans the entire width of the screen, but when I hover over 'Menu-Kitchen', the menu is displayed incorrectly.

That's because the dropdown section is not configured properly in the menu item settings. You can find there the "width" parameter, set it to "100%"

Okay, everything is okay! Thank you Fred :)
