Ticket #25500 - Assistance with AMP Image Handling in Alysum Theme for CMS Pages
Hello Fred, i hope you are well.
I sometimes need to add images to CMS pages, and the challenge arises with using <amp-img> tags to optimize the AMP pages. While the AMP version displays correctly with these tags, it disrupts the layout on the desktop version handled by the standard PrestaShop setup. Conversely, when using regular <img> tags, the AMP pages do not render as intended.
Could you please advise if there is a built-in function or a recommended practice within Alysum or its AMP module that automatically handles the switch between <img> and <amp-img> tags based on the version being accessed? This functionality is crucial for effectively managing media content on CMS pages and ensuring a seamless user experience across all device types.
Thks
Cédric

Hi, Cedric.
All images tags <img> should be converted automatically into <amp-img>
Please give me a link to that CMS page to let me check out why it's not happen

As I can see the img tag is converted to amp-img the only things are missing "width" and "height" attributes which have to be added to original img tag https://take.ms/A0e02
