Hi, Walter Tamburini.
As I can see you are trying to upload an image in web format which is not supported by the blog. Try to upload .jpg image instead

thank you for your suggestion but it's weird because I can use webp images for all the other parts of the website.

We await the blog module update from the author, which is expected to include new image format support.
