Ticket #26502 - Serbian (sr-CS) translations not applied — theme strings remain in English
Theme-level UI strings are not being translated to Serbian (sr-CS) regardless of the method used. The following strings remain in English on the front-end: Cart, My Compare, Search, Account, Sign In, My Favorites, My Products.
Methods attempted:
METHOD 1 - Back Office translation editor:
International → Translations → Modify translations → Theme translations → Alysum → Serbian
Strings were edited and saved. Changes do not appear on the frontend.
METHOD 2 - Direct XLF file editing on the server:
Translation files edited directly on the server at:
/public_html/translations/sr-CS/
Files edited include: ShopThemeActions.sr-CS.xlf, ShopThemeCatalog.sr-CS.xlf, ShopThemeGlobal.sr-CS.xlf and others.
Files are saved correctly on disk but changes are not reflected on the frontend.
METHOD 3 - Translation folder created inside theme directory:
A sr-CS folder was created inside the theme’s own translation directory and XLF files were added there. The theme does not pick up these files either.
None of the above methods have any effect. The store frontend continues to display original English strings.
