Ticket #26538 - [Bug / Theme Issue] Secondary product image hover effect is not working

Hello support team,

I am experiencing an issue with the product hover image effect on my store.

When hovering over a product card in the catalog or category pages, the image should switch to show the secondary product image (hover effect), but it stays static on the main image and does nothing.

Details of the setup:

PrestaShop version: 9.1

PHP version: 8.1

Product image formats generated: Base JPEG and AVIF (Native PrestaShop image generation).

What I have already checked:

Products have multiple images assigned in the Back Office.

The hover option is enabled in the theme configuration module settings.

Cleared the PrestaShop cache and browser cache thoroughly.

Could you please inspect my catalog page to see if this is a JS/CSS selector issue or if the theme needs a patch to handle the modern image formats (AVIF/WebP) properly for the secondary hover image?

I can provide temporary Back Office and FTP credentials if you need to inspect the template files.

Sorry, but I still not able to connect. Here is my logs:

Command: 	USER fenixpri
Response: 	331 User fenixpri OK. Password required
Command: 	PASS *********
Response: 	530 Login authentication failed
Error:         	Critical error: Could not connect to server

I tried both FTP/SFTP, secure/insecure connections
